Used in refractories, especially for steel furnace linings, polycrystalline ceramic for aircraft windshields, electrical insulation, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, inorganic rubber accelerator, oxychloride and oxysulfate cements. Used in removal of sulfur dioxide from stack gases and generally used in the pharmaceutical industry.
