Vast amounts of covid tests produced during the pandemic are set to expire at end of this year & early 2024.
I caught covid for the second time last week and reached into my bottom draw for our box InnoScreen Covid tests & noted the upcoming expiry date of 24th of December.
I tested positive for 4 days and I isolated during my infectious period.
I am lucky as I only had mild symptoms with 2 days in bed, however it was a crappy experience and a reminder to act responsibly to protect others from transmission.
Annabel and I tested daily and continued to test days after my first negative result to be sure.
Getting Covid again was a reminder for us to stock up in preparation for next time, as unfortunately this virus is still with us with its various mutations.
