Blooms St John's Wort 2000 is formulated to calm the nervous system and contains a high quality herbal extract. As a traditional European medicine the herb was used to help many conditions. It has anti-inflammatory and mood modulating properties. Hyperforin has been shown to inhibit the reuptake of the neurotransmitters serotonin, norepinephrine and dopamine. It also aids in the management of mild anxiety. Its sedative properties help aid in relief from insomnia and sleeplessness. St John's Wort is thought to positively affect the neurotransmitters in the brain that are linked to mood and emotional conditions.
Directions
Take 1 capsule three times daily.

Hypericum perforatum (St John's Wort) extract
equivalent to dry flowering herb 2 g (2000 mg)
standardised to hypericin 1 mg
