Description
SurgiPack Infrared Ear Thermometer 6183 is an infrared thermometer designed to measure body temperature by detecting infrared emissions from the ear. It provides a temperature reading in approximately 1 second and features an illuminated display, fever alarm, and memory function.

How to Use

Press the O/I button. The LCD will activate and display all segments for approximately 2 seconds.

The last measurement will automatically appear on the display for approximately 2 seconds, accompanied by the M icon.

When the °C or °F icon flashes and a beep sounds, the thermometer is ready for measurement.

Straighten the ear canal by positioning the ear as follows:

Children under 1 year: Pull the ear straight back.

Children aged 1 year to adults: Pull the ear up and back.

While gently holding the ear, insert the probe snugly into the ear canal. Point the probe toward the centre of the head in the direction of the eardrum, then press the START button.

Release the button and wait for the beep, which indicates that the measurement is complete.

Remove the thermometer from the ear canal. The measured temperature will appear on the LCD.
Warnings
Button/coin batteries can cause severe injuries or death if swallowed. Keep batteries out of reach of children. If you suspect that a child has swallowed or inserted a button/coin battery, seek medical attention immediately.
